Oat Porridge Recipe with Cinnamon and Blueberries

Blue Berry Porridge


1 Cup Flavans organic porridge oats
2 1/2 cups milk (almond,oat, coconut)
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp Vanilla Greek Yoghurt (optional)
1/2 cup blueberries
2 Tbsps mixed milled seeds


1. Combine 1 cup of oats with 2 1/2 cups of milk (choose almond, oat or coconut)
2. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla essence. Cook on low heat for approx 5 mins
3. At the end, stir in 1 tbsp Fage greek yoghurt – high protein, low sugar & delicious.
4. Divide between 2 bowls and sprinkle with blueberries and seeds of choice.

Nutrition Information

Oats: Oats are high in soluble fibre and studies show that just five to 10 grams of this soluble fiber can lower both total cholesterol and LDL or ”bad” cholesterol.

Cinnamon: Great for balancing blood sugar.
